Lt. Col. K. V. G. Nambiar, Chairman & Managing Director
Lt. Col. K. V. G. Nambiar retired from the Signals Corps of the Indian Army and thereafter had the honour of being a Founder Member of a large multi-national security company in the country. He pioneered the concept of a dedicated Training Centre having set up one the largest operations in the State of Goa, India. A pioneer and visionary in the domain of manned Security Guarding, he has mentored quite a few security personnel who today hold important positions in the security and business continuity domain. He is widely acclaimed to be an authority on the Private Security and Regulations Act, (PSARA), 2005 and labour laws and regulations and is regularly consulted by industry as well as consulting personnel. He has to his credit more than two decades of rich multi-lateral experience in running the operations of security companies, and has the distinction of providing security to a variety of industries in the hospitality, mining, healthcare, leisure, manufacturing and event security verticals. Under his stewardship, he has successfully scaled up a state-wide strength of more than 3,000 Security personnel and groomed a strong contingent of more than 75 managerial staff. At Alertforce, he plays an active role as Executive Chairman and presides over the Board of Directors. He continues to instill in the organization, the twin cherished values of continuous improvement and ceaseless training.
Mr. Ajoy A. Athalye, Director
Ajoy A. Athalye is an Engineer - MBA with over 22 years of work experience spanning financial services, paper and paperboard, life insurance and integrated security and facility management industries and has worked at various Zonal and pan-India positions in Sales and Business Development, Operations and Financial Control. In his earlier stints in Financial Services and Insurance, he has worked closely with KPMG Peat Marwick Consultants for process modernization, and has compiled various operating manuals.He specializes in turnaround cases and has to his credit, several awards for consistent performance in Sales as also Best Practices Implementation. A faculty at various management institutes, he is associated with two large charitable educational institutions in the Konkan Region of Maharashtra, where he plays an active role at the Governing Council level.
Priya Nambiar, Director
Priya Nambiar is a Hotel Management Graduate with over 15 years of corporate experience. She has worked in various industries such as FMCG, Alco -Bev, Lifestyle and Logistics. Her Armed forces background coupled with corporate exposure, interpersonal and PR skills make her a result oriented professional with a rich mix of leadership, analytical approach, and problem-solving expertise.Her strong skills include customer relationship, customer growth and driving cross functional collaboration. Ms. Nambiar holds the values of 'customer service' close to her heart and believes in accepting challenges, fulfilling the organizational goal and giving back by continuous learning and commitment.
An avid reader, she also spends time writing and is actively involved in activities pertaining to Veer Naari’s and the families of jawans of the Indian Armed Forces.
